Keith Roberts, Broker/Owner: Keith graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. degree in Natural Resources Management and then worked for the Maryland Dept. of Natural Resources, Land Planning Services Division. After moving to his grandparents’ farm in Western Maryland, he worked as a farmer, a home builder, an engineering inspector, a rep for a non-profit Land Trust, and an acquisitionist/project manager for a couple of land companies. In 1992 he formed Appalachian Land Services in Garrett County, MD which has been his home ever since.

Cheryl Henderson, Sales: Cheryl moved to Garrett County, MD in 1981. She became licensed to sell Real Estate in Maryland in 1986 and worked as a sales agent for multiple list brokerages until joining ALS in 1995 at which time she also became licensed in West Virginia. “My choice to move away from multiple list Real Estate and focus only on Land with ALS was based on my need to know my properties as if they were my own. With ALS, I am a part of each step in the development of a listing from previewing a property prior to purchase through surveys and perk tests for building sites. By the time a parcel is ready to sell I know exactly what it has to offer.”
